We were in town for the Eugene Marathon and stayed here for two nights. We had kids with us and it was a great place with a couple kids. The bedroom layout is a bit awkward for two separate families as the master bedroom is only accessible by walking through the other bedroom but since we both had kids and we’re all related it was okay. Beautiful property and we loved seeing the chickens running around.
I rented this sweet home for my visiting family with their kiddos ages 2 and 6. They loved it! It was comfy and clean. Spacious enough for the four of them. The property feels very secure and private with the fenced- in yard and security gate between busy road and driveway. The close proximity ( approx one block) to the beautiful Willamette river walking/biking/running trail is a huge bonus. I reached out to Toby quite a bit in prep and during our stay and she was an excellent communicator, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our family had a great time and I highly recommend this lovely home.
This is a sweet little house; really nice for a family with kids. Fenced yard, room to play, can walk to the river or even to the trampoline place. The family dogs are friendly and beautiful and Toby went out of her way to be helpful. You go through 1 bedroom to get to the master bedroom, so probably best as a family stay. The kitchen is still a little understocked on dishes and such, but it is a new listing. You come through a security gate to get to the house, so it feels safe and private, surrounded by trees and greenery. I would stay here again the next I'm in Eugene.
The Blue Animal House is such a quaint and cozy space. The home was very clean with lots of of natural light coming in through the windows and sliding glass doors. The closed in porch with comfortable furniture made for a great quiet morning with coffee before the little one woke for the day. As the property is enclosed within the owner’s gated property, it feels very safe and secure. We didn’t bring our fur baby this time, but the fenced in yard would have been perfect for him. In short, I highly recommend this property.
